Upon receipt of the fee, the latest version without the overprint will be returned. McHurricane‚Ñ¢ requires a Mac Plus or later Macintosh‚Ñ¢ and System 6.0.5 or later. Apple's 32 bit Quick Draw is necessary for color and realistically a hard drive should be used for color operation. It was designed for use with 256 colors. Application memory size ('Current Size' in Get Info) for monitors larger than 15 inches should remain at 1000K. If you are using "Millions" of colors, adjust the Application memory to 2000K to prevent memory driven errors. McHurricane‚Ñ¢ appears to function ok at 750K with small monitors (13" color or smaller). McHurricane‚Ñ¢ 2.0 is System 7.0 compatible.
McHurricane™ is a hurricane/storm tracking utility, covering the mid- Atlantic Ocean, Atlantic coast, Gulf of Mexico, and Antilles areas (31°W to approximately 102°W Longitude, and 0° to 48°N Latitude), and North American Pacific coast area (97°W to 145° W Longitude, 9°N to 49°N Latitude). Four storms of 75 plots each may be in memory at one time; each storm may be updated and plots altered or inserted. Individual plot data may be displayed by clicking on the specific plot. Maps and storm data listings may be printed. Preference settings may be made for the default map, plotting styles, 12 or 24-hour clock display, log and track colors, and the custom city.
